Hengame and Hengameh

Farsi Show goes around the city to be a bridge between you and the cultural, literature, and arts events. Today’s Farsi Show guest is Hengame Afshar one of the most prominent Iranian women. Hengame is a poet, reporter, painter, writer, TV host and activist. She is the first ever women Captain and founder of girls soccer team “Persepolis” in Iran. She has published two poetry books in the U.S. Hengame shares some of her poetry, discussion on her experience as a female soccer player and her immigration stories.
