Today on the show, Regem Corpuz welcomes Marcos Perez  a student activist from LAVC and Marina Gonzalez, a counselor and a member of CaliforniaEmpowerEd. Corpuz discusses the importance of the March to March and Occupy the Capitol, with each of the guest’s perspectives of the significance of these protests. Perez illustrated the similarities between Occupying Sacramento with the student activists who occupied Wisconsin’s capital, and Occupy the Capital’s 5 campaign points. Gonzalez mentions the new Student Task Force recommendations and how the new recommendations are detrimental for students today. For this month, Gonzalez promotes CaliforniaEmpowerEd’s conference at LATTC taking place on March 24, 2012.
