On this week’s episode, I spoke with Lonni Lyons, a Career & Guidance Counselor Assistant at Pierce College’s Umoja Program. Lonni shares how her work at Pierce began, maintaining personal relationships and building new ones in a remote environment. We also dive into resources, “safe spaces” and support systems that are available to students in and outside of the LACCD, as well as a few university campuses.
