On this episode, Robyn chats with Omri Gabay from Hillel 818, the San Fernando Valley chapter covering Pierce College, Los Angeles Valley College and California State University, Northridge of Hillel International: The Foundation for Jewish Life, an international student organization that works to promote the understanding of Jewish culture, religion and lifestyle. Gabay discusses some of the many events that the Hillel 818 chapters hosts during the semester as well as the chapter’s commitment to connecting students to Jewish life on campus.

On this episode, Robyn speaks with Ashley Gomes about Pierce’s pre-vet program and the pre-vet club. Gomes describes how their meetings operate and the support it provides to students in the pre-vet program and even the Registered Vet Tech (RVT) program. Gomes also discusses the annual Farm Walk, a fundraiser benefitting the Pierce Farm, an area crucial to aiding pre-vet and RVT students, allowing them more hands-on experiences with the animals and agriculture.
The Farm Walk will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
