Welcome to Pierce Profiles, where KPCRadio.com reporters profile a person, group or department of Pierce College. Team reporters conduct multiple interviews creating Club Profiles that feature the student-run clubs on campus. In this profile Shawnti Robinson features the Blatigenous Club. Shigueru Julio Tsuha, PhD. professor of Sociology and the club’s co-advisor discusses how the group takes on a multi-ethnic identity, and how they join forces for a common cause.  Ricardo Perez a Sociology major and club member mentions the name of the club, which stands for the Black, Latino and Indigenous Club. Jessica Campbell another member of Blatigenous talks about how the club discussions focus on some of the racial issues on campus, and that many people do not know understand or even know about.
