Music from the Underground: Connie Lim
MUSIC FROM THE UNDERGROUND: Connie Lim Performs Live from KPCRadio on Vimeo.
On Music from the Underground, hosts Courtney Coles and Maurice McFarland had UC Berkeley alum, Connie Lim in the studio.
Lim started writing and playing the piano at 8 years old, with the help of her now 95-year-old piano teacher. After going through her “teenage emo angst drama,” Lim started writing full songs to music. Her motivation behind composing music is to not go crazy.
When it came to comparing the music scene in Berkeley to the music scene in Los Angeles, Lim said, “there’s a lot more dancing in the Bay area.”
