For the second episode of “Voice for the Voiceless,” host Regem Corpuz discusses the strength of the Latino Community and their impact in the upcoming 2012 elections. Corpuz speaks to Raul Preciado, former statewide organizer for the California Dream Network and currently working a congressional campaign in New Mexico as the varying ideologies from the Latino community and how it will be reflected in the elections. Corpuz also speaks to Sergio Salazar, Cal Lutheran Dreamer about the policies that the Latino community is waiting to see addressed by politicians from both sides of the spectrum. Corpuz ends the show with a quote from Natalie Portman as she uses the word “undocumented” instead of “illegal” to describe immigrants, thanking Demian Bichir for his role in the movie “A Better Life”, being “the voice for the voiceless”.
