On this show of “Happy Hour” we are pleased to have Kim Saunders. Kim began teaching at L.A. Trade School in 2005. She was in the Fashion Industry for twenty years.She was educated at USC, LA Trade Tech and UC Berkeley. She is currently manager of the SIP, The Book Store and the Copy Tech ,at Pierce College.

The second edition of Voces del Valle focused on the Day of the Dead.Karina Ceja the site coordinator of Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural and Stuart Vaughan, the founding director of the Canoga Park Youth Arts center were guests on the program. Stuart talked about experiencing the holiday in Oaxaca, Mexico and addressed the Canoga Park Dia de los Muertos Street Festival and the Canoga Park Dia de los Muertos Family Festival.Karina discussed the workshops being offered for the Day of the Dead event in Sylmar. Both agreed that the Day of the dead is a holiday that celebrates life.
