Health 411 is a weekly health show hosted by Estefani Zamorano. On this week’s episode, Estefani speaks with Pierce College Health Director Beth Benne about HIV/AIDS Awareness Week that will be taking place on campus from Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26. Estefani and Benne discuss how HIV/AIDS testing is ordinarily done on campus, how it will be different during HIV/AIDS Awareness Week and some common misconceptions about how HIV is spread.

Benne also offers advice to anyone who tests positive for HIV.

Students and staff will be able to find the RV in which the testing is done in Parking Lot 1 in the faculty section along the red curb parallel to the mall.

Tests will be available during the following times:
Monday, March 23 and on Thursday March 26, BIENESTAR and AIDS Healthcare Foundation will offer testing from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25, the organizations will be on campus from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
