Through the Grapevine: Sommelier

A Documentary by Luis Lindao

Through the Grapevine: Sommelier gives us a firsthand look at the world of wine through the lenses of professionals and experts within the industry. Wine is a $52 billion business in the United States of America, with much of that revenue coming from the food and beverage industry. Join KPCRadio reporter Luis Lindao as he talks to certified sommeliers Brianne Cohen, Jamie Jagerman and Kathryn Long, along with wine director Maggie Glasheen, restaurant owner and chef Walter Manzke and wine buyer and viticulturist Jesse Mangali. Cohen, Jagerman, Long, Glasheen, Manzke and Mangali share their knowledge and perspectives about the importance and significance of the work of the sommelier, the cultural and economic impact of wine and the overall state of the industry today.
