In Shortwave Radio the term “Meter bands” refers to the physical length of the radio waves, and is another way of talking about the frequency of a broadcast. For example, the 31m band is between 9400 kHz, and 9900 kHz and the 60m band is between 4750 kHz, 4995 kHz.
