Happy Hour host, Victor Stephen Kamont, was pleased to have Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Nabil Mardini, freshman Danetta Boykin and sophomore Veronica Ban to discuss their recent victory over Golden West on Tuesday, Nov. 29 2011 taking the women’s volleyball team to the state championship in Redding, Oregon.
On this week’s show, host Jeanine Richardson-James interviewed colleague and L.A. City College ASO President, Jaden Ledkins. Jaden spoke about his ongoing battle with homelessness while attending college. Jeanine also discussed her own personal experiences with this particular issue. Also, Jaden and Jeanine go in depth, regarding hardships that students are facing in these trying economic times.
The first live broadcast of the food show, “The Hidden Hunger” featured Tony Thomas, Founder of T’s Hot Sauce Truck and T’s Hot Sauce Company. Tony stopped by to talk about his beginning, present and future projects. Tony has a lot of projects coming together and his foodtruck is just one of many things to look out for.

Erin Stone and Addy Gonzales, co-founders of the San Fernando Art Collective 11:11 and Canoga Park High School, artist, Jessica Guillen, visited the studio. They spoke to host Lorrie Reyes, about art in the 818 and their new event.
Stone is an award winning photographer and current Pierce College student.
