In this profile Malena Fuentes features Jennifer Rosenberg, who is the chair of the Department of Speech Communication. Jennifer says that communications gives a person an opportunity to learn about many fields. She also mentions how the campuses Speech Department has grown significantly in order to support transfers to California State University Northridge.

Communications Professor Yeprem Davoodian mentions that Rosenberg is welcoming to other staff members and that she is an amazing co-worker. He also says that she has a diverse perspective and allows students openly contribute. Spanish major Jason Baek shares that Professor Rosenberg is very lively and fair. He also says that she allows students to freely share their opinions in class.

Nabil talks about the addition of the Beach Volleyball at Pierce College, and the importance of a players versatility. Assistant coach Tom Slautrbezk shares the history of Beach Volleyball. He also talks about the international associations, in which eventually assisted in the sport being officially inducted into the Olympic Games. Pierce College student Sakurako Fujii, mentions that beach volleyball is more physical and emotional, than playing the indoor version of the sport.
