On this episode, Emmanuel asks the listeners to learn more about the people who call themselves Chicano- a Mexican American culture that’s a large part of the fabric of Southern California’s population.

Becoming You is the show that discusses who you were, who you are and who you might become. This week on Becoming You Justin features Sam Burekhovich, a professional dancer at 19 years old. They talk about how competitive then dance world is, and some of the things you need to be successful. Sam discusses how he began dancing as a child- light bribery and coercion- and the highs and the lows he had to endure to be where he is today. Sam has experimented in both hip hop and ballroom, but specializes in International Latin dance. Sam and Justin both discuss “never having too many hustles,” goals for the future and more.

Fit Bodies is a show that focuses on health in the San Fernando Valley by eating right, exercising, meditating, and having a positive attitude. On this episode, Pierce College dance instructor Jenny Ghiglia opens up to your host Maria Trinidad about her motivation behind her dance. She explains how her passion for dance began and how she continues to expand her love for dance with students. She talks about the opportunities she came across while dancing. Ghiglia believes that everyone is connected to music in some way and encourages those who want to dance to give it a shot, not give up and trust that practice makes us all better.
Justin Harris hosts Becoming You, the show where we find out who you were, who you are, and who you might become. This week on becoming you Justin has on Brianna Keene, a 21-year-old college student who also works a full-time job in student loan forgiveness. They will talk about how hard it is to work full time and still find time for yourself. They also talk about her job in student loan assistance and how you might be able to get some help if you need it. Edgeucation with Emmanuel Arias and Stephen Nicholson is a show that focuses on education in our community. On this episode Emmanuel and Stephen interview Victoria Murguia, who is a Sociology student at California State University of Northridge. Victoria discusses the challenges of being at a University, while sharing her views on time management. She talks about her transition from High School, and how being apart of projects like Upward Bound, Project Grad and the Puente Project helped her to prepare. She mentions the challenges of being a full-time student, while working full-time. Victoria explains that it’s important for students to ask for help to succeed. She says that there are several resources available on campus at CSUN.
