André Necochea, who is the club president explains that this year the club mainly focused on Graphic Novels, Anime and Manga-Anime. Club member Andre Alcazar says that it’s broad enough to include all styles of novels. Club member Yitchak says the the club has been organized and that the president is doing a good job.

In this profile Londy Sagastume features Nabil Mardini, who is the head coach of the Pierce College Women’s Volleyball team.

Nabil talks about the addition of the Beach Volleyball at Pierce College, and the importance of a players versatility. Assistant coach Tom Slautrbezk shares the history of Beach Volleyball. He also talks about the international associations, in which eventually assisted in the sport being officially inducted into the Olympic Games. Pierce College student Sakurako Fujii, mentions that beach volleyball is more physical and emotional, than playing the indoor version of the sport.

In this profile Jose Hernandez features Professor Monika Del Bosque the director of the Pierce College Art Gallery.

Monika talks about her experience managing the gallery, and how the gallery interacts with the Pierce College campus and community. She explains her working relationship with her gallery assistants, and how she promotes idea sharing amongst her entire team.

Student worker Chris Carillo talks about working with Monika, and the high standards that they strive to achieve every gallery opening. Former student and gallery volunteer Sherry Chovan says that Monika works well with her staff, which fosters an openly creative environment.

The Daily Talk is the show that brings you all the positivity in the black community. On the last episode of season one, Taylor is joined by rapper Jordan Cash. Jordan talks about his artistry, the importance of inspiration, his hometown in the Midwest and what made him move out to California. After attending a music conference in Miami two years in a row, Jordan met rapper-producer Big Boi, who offered to listen to his music and gave him encouragement. Jordan flew to California two days later, and has been making music ever since. Tune in for the full episode with a passionate, high-energy performer with heart and presence.

The Who Is Jordan Cash? tour will start May 21st and go on through August, with the last stop in Jordan’s hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana, and it’ll be going all the way crazy.
